Motorsports Dishonest: Deposit paid, no work done, no deposit refunded & Car destroyed onsite

I enlisted the services of Aam based on the word of a few car owners in my area. The work was something any tuner shop should have been able to handle (welding a 2" spacer on the subframe and install a standalone engine management system), all they asked for was a deposit to get the work started. I dropped off the vehicle with the deposit in the car was alot of aftermarket parts that they would install as well.

I was assured that the car would be pulled into the bays off the street in a timely mannor, that did not happen. So some two months later havent heard a word from aam or Mike M., a change from the daily check in calls I used to get before the deposit was received. At the advice of another shop (who will remain nameless thanks for the advice though) they mentioned I should just pop up to check in on there progress. It is a pretty far drive from my house or job but it needed to be done.

The first few times all I received was "oh mike is busy", yet he was sitting at his desk, its amazing what kind of lie would be told considering you can see directly into his office. On a seperate trip I had a female go in and seek advice to have work done a car, of course he came to her aide! When he walked outside to see her car all he found was me, I received excuse after excuse regarding the status of my car. I walk over to my car I notice the doors are unlocked, I proceeded to pop the trunk to make sure everything was still there... And it was, locked the door went home with alittle comfort. Short lived. Two more trips to aam both times my doors were left unlocked, that usually means a setup is about to occur.

At that point I wanted my car home. They signed for the car but nobody said if they checked in the car there. When the car got to me, it was just alot of empty boxes did they do any work, nope. Did I get my deposit back, no. Did I get any money back for the items that were stolen, no but it was in there care or lack there of. I have moved onto bigger and better things I would stronger urge anyone reading this to bypass Altered Atmosphere for a shop that strives for customer satisfaction. My experience is real and accurate if there is a aam employee that needs further info feel free to hit me up I still have all documentation.
