During your process of working a car deal and they quote you a payment ask them if there are any add ons included in this payment such as warranty - credit life - accidental health - gap insurance - etching. Here is what happens if they get you agree on a payment with all these add ons in it and you dont know about them they will try to sell the products to you again when you get into the f&i office. Every product that they are able to sell you just adds that much more profit to them and add a whole lot more money to your note. Most people dont find out about this until later and there is not much you can do about it. You can cancel most of these products but you are still stuck with a large monthly payment, the only way to lower your payment is to try to refinance somewhere else and you will probably find out that you will get a lot better interest rate then what the dealer told you you qualified for.
