Oil change checklist missed battery and coolant problems

I went to Firestone on Reistertown Road and had a horrible experience. The next day my car would not start. On getting an oil change there is a checklist the tech is supposed to follow through and check your battery and so on (everything on that checklist was checked off OK).

I ended up having to get a jump, and I found out my coolant was just about dry. I made it to a different Firestone, who rechecked the car only to find out I needed a new battery and a serpentine belt.

So had my battery been checked from the checklist and the coolant level been checked, I would not have had the problems I had for a whole week, missing pay, due to the problems a tech should have taken the time to look at! We pay our money for service trusting someone to take care of our car, to give us the assurance that our car is running where it should be, not to leave and have the problems occur!
