I purchased a Montero Limited 2001 @ $ 18,900.00 about 3 weeks ago and I spoke to a salesman there, his name is Joe.

This car was used and had about 45K milles, when I first tested the car I told Joe that the brakes of the car were not working properly he said to me Carlos, keep driving we will take care about anything that's wrong in the car, don't worry about it.

We went back to the Dealer, Joe asked Ted (another salesman) Ted, take the car for service and make sure Brakes and anything else is in perfect condition.

Next morning, we went to check the car again and they told me that brakes are perfect, nothing to worry about it, everything was taking care of it.

We bought the car and left.

When my wife drove the car, she noticed that the brakes were not working properlly, had a steering pulled problem, a noise in the engine and the mats were disgusting (they left the mats in the back of the car).

That day, the Manager from the dealer called and told my wife that we have to pay $ 1,000.00 more because it was a mistake in the paper work and if we want the car we have to pay another $ 1,000.00

I went to the dealer and I told the manager, if that's the case, I want my trade in car back, my down payment back and the deal is over.

After so many hours of going back and forward, they said (AGAIN) that they will take care about all the problems in the car, they signed (WE OWE) document... But I trusted him and din't have enogh care to look the list of the items he wrote there.

We brought the car for service, the only aligned the wheels and that was it... I received a phone call from service department, they said Mr. Acosta, you have to pay $ 400,00 for the brakes if you wanted them done... I said NO... I called Joe and I told him about it... He said to me... I don't remember anything about the brakes and I think you should pay the $ 400,00 and be done with it... I only made $ 50,00 on this sale so I can't do anything about it.

I went back to the dealer, Joe wasn't there, I spoke to the Mgr. I guess his name is Mr. Brooks... I brought Ted the oder salemn and I saked Ted to tell waht happened about the brakes... He told Mr. Brooks the whole true about it... Mr. Brooks told me that will be calling me back next morning...

This was almost one week ago... I have not received any phone calls... I have not received the mats they were going to put it in the car, the engine still has a terrible noise...

One more thing Joe told us is that the car will give us 22 milles in a HWY... Total lie... It only give us 15 milles per gallon.
