Usps delayed package - USPS Delivery Services

I have been tracking a package for almost two weeks now. Noticed that it was at my local post office before being sent further and further away, eventuallly through two different States. Still have jot received package although it is now back in my state according to tracking. The information has not been updated and my package has just been sitting in a sort facility since the 7th.
