Seaport Auto Ron harrassed me Ripoff

My roomate is a salesperson at a local car dealership. I also work there as a receptionist. She was having repeated problems with her vehicle and went to Seaport Auto in Milwaukie to purchase a cheap, "around town" car. After purchasing a vehicle from a salesman, Ron, he was unable to get a hold of her as quickly and easily as he wanted, Ron began calling me. My roomate had taken MY phone bill in to the dealership as proof of residency, as we had just moved. She did NOT write down my phone number. Ron took that upon himself.

When I told him that the number was not for her but my private number he told me that SHE had written down the number and that as long as she was "dodging" his calls they were perfectly within their rights to call me. I did not accompany her to the dealership and had nothing to do with the purchase of the vehicle. He told me that as long as she was being "unreasonable and irresponsible" about going in to their dealership to finish paperwork he would be calling me as well as her. He told me that I had no rights in order to stop them from calling, then tried to get me in to sell me a car! I recieved phone calls from the mangers as well as Ron, on average of 4 times a day for almost two weeks.

Ron even had the nerve to tell me that I was a nice young lady and should think about finding a more resonsible and mature roomate. He told me it would be in my best interest to help him and his managers so they "wouldn't have to involve [me] in this any more than [I] already was". I was harrassed by these people and then they tried to frighten me into helping them to harrass my friend and roomate. Don't let this happen to you. Do not buy from seaport in milwaukie! Don't let them get away with this!
