Applebees, complaints ignored

The wife & I went out on a date night (try it guys), Applebees WAS always good. I ordered a steak, she a soup & sandwhich. I also got a beer. Food half gone, beer half gone, waiter acted goofy, knocked over my glass of beer. The glass shatered, the beer drenched my wife from her neck to her knees, a small piece of glass cut her hand, nothing bad, she's done worse in the garden, but that is uncalled for at dinner.

The waiter tried to play it off when the manager came over. The manager said, get the glass cleaned up, and walked away. Keep in mind also, I had already paid the bill because our waiter was getting ready to leave.
And that was it.

We had glass in our food, my wife was on the verge of tears. 3 other tables near us complained about how WE were getting ignored. I got the attention of another waiter, asked to see the manager, manager came out, I said " What are you going to do about this" He just stared at me. So I asked for a form to fill out an accident report.

40 minutes went by, he never came back.
I called 1-888-59apple, told them what happened, and they sent a district manager. He said, I'll take care of this. Said he needed my card again, and came back, and he took $10 off my $40 bill.By the time we left, all the people around us who saw what happened had already left.

My wife stood up a large beer stain on the front of her new white summer dress, the new people around us looked at the stain, and looked away. You can guess what it looked like. Made my wife cry. I went up to the distict manager, and I told him, this was not handled well.
He said, What do you want me to do, turn back time?

I contacted 1-888-59apple again, I got a call back from them today. They are going to send me a $10 gift card.
