Drive-Through Order Delayed Over 10 Minutes, Biscuit Left Out

Last night my kids and I drove to the Popeye's on Winchester Road in Memphis to get dinner. Many cars were lined up at the drive-thru, and customers were queued inside at the counter too.

I badly wanted the catfish basket, so we joined the drive-thru line. We gave our order, and I paid by credit card. No one said anything about a delay in making my order until after they had my signature on the card slip, and that is when things went downhill. The employee told me to pull forward and said my food would come out in 1 minute.

Almost 5 minutes passed before a worker walked out, not with my food but to ask me to move away from the restaurant door because I was blocking their line! When I asked about my order, she said they were swamped and she could not say how much longer it would be. It ended up taking more than 10 minutes. I was totally fed up by then. To make matters worse, I got home and found they had left out my biscuit, and the shrimp basket was really a basket of fries topped with a few popcorn shrimp. Tenisha, whose name is printed on the receipt, took my order and lied to me. Next time I will know better than to "pull up". I want my food at the window or my money back right then!
