Terrible Service! WAITED 25 MINUTES FOR A CHICKEN BASKET - DAiry Queen Franchises

Last week I decided to treat myself to a Chicken Basket from Dairy Queen.in the town I live in, there are three DQ's. I went to the one near the old Movie Theatre and ordered my chicken basket just as I would any time I ordered from a drive thru. The employee took my order and asked me to pull to the window. I paid my fee and began to patiently wait for my meal. About two minutes later, the employee asked me to pull around to the front of the restaurant and he would bring it out to me in "just a few minutes". This was 12:45. I thought this was strange because there were no cars behind me at all and not one person in the store. Another person pulled up and went inside and came out with a soda... Me still waiting patiently. Finally at 1:00 I got out of my car and asked what the hold up was. He said that it would be only two minutes more. At 1:10 the employee came out to my car but with no basket. He said "I am so sorry, but it will be at least 5 more minutes" I obliged and kept waiting... At 1:12 the order that I had placed 27 minutes earlier was in my hands. THIS IS REDICULOUS!!! People all over our area complain about DQ and its inability to be actual "fast food". I was also upset that I wasn't offered a drink for waiting that long or anything. Ugh
