Ripoff please be aware

Rip off occured 9/9/04

I feel so dumb but happy at the same time i reacted asap. I'm usually a very smart individual when it comes to rip off's but for some reason i was mislead. For one i was tired lack of sleep when a lady called stating that i had applied for a credit card and i was like "what" i remembered applying but erasing all my info so i never submitted. Anyway being the polite person that i am i listened to the lady stating that i could get a credit limit of 2,000 with no annual fee for 3years and that after the three years that i would receive an annual fee of 4. Something.

Well no they didn't take the money out of my account on the day before they where suppose to. I'm fully aware of how much goes in and out of my account. I didn't give it much thought but i know that it was too good to be true. So instead of surfing the net like i should have i wouldn't have been mislead. As i was searching i started seeing lots and lots of articles about the phony company. My heart dropped knowing that all of it was a scam. Luckily i read this article about what to do. I immediately called my bank advised them of what happened and they refunded me my money right then and there. They stated that guardian financial had so many days to respond but i know they won't because they will be in serios trouble for fraud and the recording well i bet that was all a lie as well so i'm not worried.

Tell your bank that you did not authorize the debit, DEMAND that they reverse the ACH transaction in accordance with NACHA and Federal Regulation E rules, and let them know you wish to sign an affidavit of unauthorized/fraudulent account activity.

After reading this i kept my account and switched the routing numbers to my checks to avoid them trying to resubmitt the amount again. Hope you all catch it in time!
