Guardian Financial
Benefits ripoff - FRAUDULENT info to SCAM the Honest!

Business & Finance

I, too, was SCAMMED by Guardian Financial. Same thing was said to me as to your other victims. "you were approved for a Master Card with a $2000 limit... But the processing fee is $249". I, stupidly wanted to have a credit card without an annual fee. So I signed up. My credit card was to arrive in 10-15 days like eveyone else's. But it didn't.

When I called, I actuall did get through and they told me that it would take another 20 days or so. I waited patiently for my new credit card, wanting to transer charges from another card to this new card. I became tired of waiting and I called again. This time, after several attempts to connect with someone, they customer service rep told me that my package would arrive on 9/21/04. I wanted to be certain, so I asked, " my master card will arrive on the 21st?" He verified that it would. 9/21/04 a package arrive. I was so happy. My new Master Card was here!

I opened the big package to find a packet with Guardian Financial Benefits Service written on the outside and a sihloette of a man woman and child. Oh, maybe my credit card is inside, I thought. I opened it to find JUNK! Coupons that are worthless in my area, a thick book titled
Credit Repair and Money Management Guide! This is not what I ordered! Oh, by the way... There was an application for a secured credit card. What a joke! I was scammed and I felt like a fool. I called GFBS the following morning.

I told the rep that answered the line that I did not oder this Guide I was approved for a Master Card and I wanted it FedEx'd to me overnight. She asked me if when I was being recorded I asked them to stop the recording after they said that in 10-15 days your Benefit package will arrive. I told her that I did not stop the recording. She insisted that the recording states that I will not be getting a Master Card but only a package.

She actually even played back my recording. After listening to myself being recorded, she got back on the line with me. I then asked her "what part of that recording said that I will not be getting a Master Card" The recording actually states that " a Benefit Package along with your Master Card will arrive in 10-15 days..." I made her aware of their fraudulent activity and she became defensive. I told her that I wanted my money back and she told me that the only way I could get my money back is if the CEO, Christian Bernard received the request in writing and if he approves the refund. I wrote to him and have yet to hear anything in return. We will see.
