Premium Advantage
Ripoff credit card scam told I would be getting a secured card in 14 business days

Business & Finance

I read the report that Wendy from Newport, Oregon wrote regarding her experience with the company Premium Advantage.

I received a call on my cell phone May 1, from Ms. Queen informing me that I could get a secured credit card with a $3000 limit. I was informed that they needed my bank acct info and routing number of bank and in 14 business days I would have a credit card. I was also informed that I could pay an additional $7.00 if I wanted the card within 5 days.

I gave my information freely, like an idiot!!! Not at all thinking I would be ripped off.

I called Premium Advantage numerous times and was informed that the card would be sent to me in 14 days, then I was informed that they meant 14 business days, then it was 18 days, then 18 business days, then I called on a Thursday and I was asked to call back on Tuesday so they could give me a Fed Ex tracking number. I called the next Thursday and was told they would call be back because they don't know the tracking number, but that they would look into it and call me back. One of the times that I called the company I was informed that they don't deal with credit cards and they hung up, I immediately called them back. This time informing them that they took money out of the checking acct and asked them if they were ripping me off, or if this was a fraudulent business they were running.

They informed me that there business had been around for a long time and that in no way were they committing fraud. I was informed that they would look into my account and get back to me asap. I told them I would call them back in 2 hours. I tried calling them back but there office is now closed. What can I do to retrieve my deposit of $300.?

I called my bank and was informed I needed to fill out an affadavit and thay would look into the situation.
