I was contacted by phone by someone with the name of Blair Bennett by Premium Advantage, offering me an un-secured credit card with a $3000.00 dollor limit. I was told they needed to take $299.95 out of my bank account, that the money was so the company could make a profit since they charged 0% interest and that it also payed for a package I needed. I was also told that I needed a AAA package that was mandatory and it would be a free trial and $19.95 monthly if I did not cancel he AAA after the free trial.

I was asked for my social security number and thankfully, I declined to give it to them. My girlfriend was listening to the phone call and looked the company up on the internet. She found your site and immediately told me to cancel, she found out that it was a scam on usacomplaints.com. I immediately called my bank, went in and closed my account.

We called the better business bureau in New Jersey and was told that it was indeed a credit card identity theft scam operating out of canada. We were told the company was being investigated and for us to call the Federal Trade Commission. The phone number is 877-382-4357. We were also told that the (company) was targeting people on the west coast and in Texas. I am in Texas.

The better business bureau in New Jewsey had had so many reports that the are telling people to call Burgan County Consumer Affairs at 201-336-6400. Beware of Premium Advantage — EmbarassedTexan
