Ripoff Said they would give me a credit card for $299.95 Visalia California

Business & Finance

I recieved a call this morning from a man who identified himself as David Reynolds. He was calling from "Premium Advantage." He then informed me that I am qualified for a $3000 MasterCard, but because I'm still a minimal risk to the bank due to my lack of credit I would have to give a deposit through my checking account of $299.95.
I gave him my information over the phone, reluctantly. Something didn't seem right. When I got off the phone, I called the information line to get the number to "Premium Advantage." There was no postings of this company. I then had a friend look them up on the internet and found this sight. I quickly got on the phone with my bank, closed that bank account and opened a new one to avoid them using my account whenever they felt necessary.

I called the toll free number back and spoke to a Nate. When I told him that I read they were fraudulently taking money from people's bank accounts he asked me if I authorized the money to come out. I said that I had, but from what I understand they don't hold down their end of the bargain by sending out the credit card. He then told me they don't send out credit cards. I laughed and told him that I spoke to someone 45 minutes earlier that promised me a MasterCard.

Obviously, this company is out to rip people off and I want to make sure it doesn't happen to non-suspecting people like me!
