Denied water damage claim due to a storm when the draines didn't hold and water poured infront of my unit going under the door and damadging boxes of clothes, pictures, a laptop, and a tv

I moved to Colorado in a job transfer. I rented a unit for one month and during this time they had 3 storms. On the 3rd storm I went to the unit to take out some items. I found that the draines that ran above my unit was over flowing. There was a camera that was directed toward my unit so I called the Storage Company they stated to call the insurance company. I said I would but I wanted to make sure while I was there that I called it in so it would be documented at the time I found the unit. It was getting dark so I took some pictures with my phone as well. The unit had to be opened slowly with me on the ground in mud and water because the boxes in front that got wet had colapsed causing the items on them to push into the door.

The items that got wet were boxes of clothes, pictures, baby books, lap top, and a tv. The clothes I was able to wash and dry, the pictures were destroyed and the lap top doesnt work. The tv works but the buttons in front don't work properly.
I called Bader right away and filed all the proper paperwork including the pictures. Never got a call again and then a denial letter saying the building didn't colapse. I called and spoke to S. (man who sent the letter) supervisor R.L. She said he filed out the proper forms so I was denied. I stated I would call my lawyer. After I saw the other comments on here I knew I was in for a fight. I explained I paid for water damadge protection and this was water damage. Not by me but by faulty drains.
This company is terrible.
