WLI Reservation Rewards
Ripoff

I guess I've been duped! Like so many of you out there I'm outraged at the audacity of this company.

I ordered a product from Brylane Home Kitchen and I had no idea this WLI company was connected to them in anyway. I did get through to WLI after calling my bank who advised me to phone WLI at their 800 number which I did.

I politely blasted the fellow on the other end and told him that ripping off innocent people is not acceptable. He said and I quote "if I didn't believe in this company I wouldn't work here." Horse feathers, I suspect the guy needs the job!

I advised him that I thought they should make the print larger on their offer so people can see it. He advised me it was quite visible, however I detected a hint of embarrassment in his tone. I won't get my $9.00 back, but I did get an email from them and here it is for all to see:

Dear member: (ha, I didn't join up so I'm "NOT" a member!!!)

This notice confirms that your last charge for your Reservation Rewards membership took place on 03/13/04 and effective 03/17/04 you will no longer be charged.

(You saw it here, I will NO LONGER BE CHARGED!) I'm going to see what happens, if I am charged then I'm closing out my bank account and I advise all of you to do the same!)

I used a bank card, not a credit card... Unfortunately!

You can continue to use your Reservation Rewards membership benefits until the end of the current paid term which is 04/12/04.

Your cancel confirmation number is: xxxxxx.

We are sorry to see you go and hope you reconsider becoming a member again in the future. Any money you've saved is yours to keep... And thank you for trying our service!
