12-Month No-Interest Offer Ignored, $120 Charged on $400 Balance

I just got ripped off by Home Depot Credit (GE Capital). I got a postcard in the mail last year for 12 months of free interest. For 12 months, when I made payments, they posted the payments to my balance, and nothing was ever posted to the free interest account. They are now charging me $120 on a $400 balance.
When I called them, they said that I should have called them each month and told them to put the additional payment toward this card, because they do not do this automatically. They refused to do anything, and I have been an A client with them for over 10 years.
Time to pay off the account in full and start shopping elsewhere! Goodbye, Home Depot.
