In the last year Home Depot has raised the consumer credit card interest rate to 25.99%. This makes it nearly impossible for anyone to payoff there balance. I have always paid my bill on time and never been over limit. On several occasions they even increased my line amount to encourage further purchase. As soon as the rate was increased (and several times since) I have called and written the credit center to ask for a rate reduction only to be told no. This rate is very unfair and consumer unfriendly. Every month I continue to make my payments but I don;t seem to get anywhere when most of the payment is going towards finance chanrges. It is a never ending cycle.
