Affordable Finance LLC
Cost me my house, took about $2, ooo of my money and did nothing

Business & Finance

I was researching loan modifications on the internet. They contacted me by telephone.

They e-mailed me a contract and I gave them my information to deduct monthly payments from my account.

Everything seemed ok until, after a couple of months they asked for the same information we had alredy sent.

This happened about four times. Meanwhile, I was told to not make anymore payments, that I would be wasting my money.

It was supposed to take no longer than 4 months. I began to get letters from my mortgage company.

I contacted Affordable Finance, and they told me to send the letters to them and they would take care of it. I was told not to have direct contact with my mortgage company or sign any papers.

After about six months, I almost never heard from them. My last contact, they asked for another power of attorney. They were supposed to mail me the papers to get notarized. I never received them.

It's been a little over a year, my home is being forclosed on and I can't reach Affordable Finance by phone or e-mail.
