Bank of America
Property Claims

Business & Finance

In December we received a $66,000.00 insurance claim check due to roof and structural damage to our home. I delivered the check to my B of A branch and they mailed it to the property claims department in Arizona. After I mailed them a fax with the adjuster's bill he received his check for 20% from Bank of America. When I contacted them for the first disbursement check they were asking to inspect the work done. I told them work has not been done because you have not sent me a check yet. Its now April 1st and B of A has yet to send the first check and rainy season is right around the corner. Should I tell the insurance company that they have not sent a check and we may have additional damages due to the rainy season? They just are not efficient using faxes and not receiving faxed material for 72 hours. Is this one of the largest banks in America? Is this the year 2010? Somebody from B of A needs to do something about this department. Ramon Llorca
