Terrible policy

I made a deposit to cover debits that I made thinking that the deposit would be posted at the time of deposit.instead it was posted the next day and it cost me $250 in fees. I was unaware that deposits made after 8PM do not get credited to the account until the next day. I tried to talk to B of A and ask for some leniency on this and they refused and ended up making a huge profit on my mistake. Even though they were within their legal right to do charge me for my mistake they still made an unfair profit. They could have used better judgment by removing some fees but they refused. I will be glad to tell my clients at my business how I was treated by the B of A. Again, they were within their right to do what they did but it was unethical to profit this much from a small mistake. I won't forget this and the bad PR that results from such insensitive practices will surely cost them more than they unfairly made off of me.

This is a terrible way to conduct business. Bank of America should be ashamed of itself for such exploitative practices.
