In 1995, I got a loan from CitiFinancial for $20,000. I have paid back at least $50,000 over the 15 years since the loan. I had a few layoffs and was late and missed a few payments, so they did a loan modification, in their words to lower my interest rate. It was the biggest mistake of my life. It's 2010, and according to them I still owe them over $30,000.
I'm at my wits end and lost. I know I had to pay the thing back, but this is insane. I don't even have a life because of CitiFinancial. Like so many other people, I can't afford to fight them in court, but together we can put an end to this insane madness. I'm mad and it's time to fight back.
