Principal Payment Refused Because System Takes Only Regular Ones

I have a loan from Citifinancial and I am trying to pay it off beforehand. So I decided to go to Citifinancial on March 16 to make another full payment of $250.00 toward the principal. But when I told them what I was doing, I was told that I can't make a principal payment because it's not in their system, only regular payments.

I really feel like Citifinancial is ripping people off. I have never in my life heard of such nonsense. Something really needs to be done about this loan company, this is ridiculous. This isn't my first loan, but I guarantee it is my last loan with Citifinancial.
