Late fees even though payment was made at the huntington branch on due date

Fia i found out is not a hunting bank credit card it is a seprate co. And hunting bnk only accept payment there if you go in and make payment on the due date you will be charge a late fee i was told that they process your payment 12.00pm an this make you late but if you call in your payment they still process at midnight but now you are not late i have made my payment at the branch on the due date and no one has ever made me aware of thi practiceand i deal with several bnks and this i never heard of to me this is another way of fleeceing the comsumer a customer should me made aware of who services he is dealing with at that time i trustedthat branch mgr of huntington bnk but now i think that the federial banking commisson should be made aware of this practice
