I also have been calling chase to try to qualify for a home loan modification for over 6 months. All they do is pass you from department to department. They cant or wont answer your questions htey record everything you say so that they can use it against you. So be careful what you say. To this date i have recieved zero paperwork from them for a modification. I've filled out their generic type paperwork like income, utilities, etc. Numerous times because after 3 months the paperwork is no longer valid. I think they're hoping you hit the lottery or recieve an inheritance. This i've done numerous occasions. The only way to get their attention is to call on your congressman/woman and senators to intervene on your behalf. They have paperwork they will send you to authorize them to contact your mortgage holder for. I am also still recieving acceleration letters though also. So im not sure this will work either but it is worth trying if you want to stay in your home.
