Us Banks
Has policies that they can't show proof of having

On May 10 I went to Eads parkway Us Bank In lawrenceburg, In 47025 to do some transactions for my clients accounts with Us bank. While I was there I decided to get some cash for myself out of my personal account through there ATM. The ATM in question sucked my card back in and I could not get it back. I immediatly called my card company to tell them the situation and they told me to return there first thing in the morning to retrieve the card and If Us bank had any questions about this they could call them. So i called US bank at 8am on 5/11 to retrieve my card the lady told me that her manager would arrive @ 830a she could help me get that before they cleared the ATM. So I called at 830a and spoke with Erin (Bank Manager) I told her I was on my way to get my card and I had my id and whatever else she needed to see she informed me that she had them shred my card. I said shred my card, why would you do that? It's company policy she said, I asked for a copy of there policy at this point. She then said well its a inner office policy and I can't show that to you, so I said well who can show me this because my card company is probably going to want to see this policy. She said well I'll speak to my manager and call you back. She called me back to inform me that she called the number on the back of my card and she didn't reach anyone. I said how is that possible if you shredded my card? You wouldn't be able to see the number to call it. Well it's in my hand in pieces, I stated well I want to see my card in pieces then. She said No we can't show it to you and we don't have to show you our policy. Sounds to me like someone is up to no good here. They can't show me my shredded bank card and they can't show me a policy stating they were supposed to shred it. Sounds strange to me what company has policies that they can't share with there patrons. My suggestion to everyone is to never deal with this bank and if you are you might want to pull your accounts immediatly sounds to me like Erin the bank manager is not only rude and unprofessional, but, she may be doing things with people's money that she shouldn't be doing.
