SPS has purchased my mortgage. I have one of those interest only rip off loans. I contacted them just to see if they would waive the pre-payment fee so that I could refinance. They refused, but did offer a short sale or a short payment. That does not make sense at all. They would rather lose the entire payoff than lose just the prepayment fee. I am not happy that they hold my mortgage and cannot figure out why they even bought it.
