Wachovia Bank (Wells Fargo) is charged with collecting; unfair and unconscienable overdraft and nsf fees. Customers/Consumers are not advised or ill advised as to the policy of collections, nor given the opportunity to review methods or 'opt out' of same. For years now, Wachovia Bank have encouraged customers to use Debit Cards with Visa (tm) logos or (MCtm) logos for the purpose of and in the stead of cash or check. Unknow to the bank customers was the creeping internal policy of accruing debits through time, till as if one transaction; the sum of debits along with corresponding NSF / OD fees would cause the Account linked to the Transaction Debit Card to be "overdrawn" erego justifying the Fees and Charges. The Bank' will call the 'fees' "Loan fees' due to the so called "lending" of monies to cover the transaction. Without, ever having Notified or signed any Notice of Lendors Disclosure to the Cusomer, or advising of the collective cost of such 'fees'. Fees can range from $25 to $35 per - transaction, even if debit amount is less than $1.00. Many accounts would never had reached an "overdraft" status had such outrageous and abusive fees never been applied. Many charges are caused by deducting a purchase when its made, instead of when it clears (erego disallowing banking customer time to settle account).instead of Declining an overdrawn account, The Bank' proceeds with the transaction with no notification to the consumer at the point of sale.
