Took my money and now they are gone

A few months ago I got a call from this company to help lower my credit card interest rates. I usually do not entertain these type of calls but I was really needing help with my credit cards and they got me at a vulnerable time. After being on the phone for about a hour, I called them back to make sure it was real, I also checked the web for any bad reports on them... But at the time found none. I let them charge my credit card for the services $1995.00, made an appointment - I called them and was told my financial advisor was coming in late, he never called; made another appointment - when I called, they wouldnt talk to me as they didnt think it was me; Called for my last appointment which was on April 24th and got a message that the phone number is a non terminating number with people.com. Also sent an email, got back an undelivered mail message. Now, Im not only behind on credit cards but been scammed for $1995.00...
