Mesa Rock Financial - Topaz Financial
Dont work for this Company or worse do Business with them

Business & Finance

Dorcus the HR manager will promise you that employees average $5000-$7500 a month, not you could make, not thats what top producers make, the average. She states its a laid back atmosphere to work. The say that there are leads provided to make calls. And lastly that it is a Christian based company. All false.

W / the Commission structure employees have to wait 90days on average before they ever see income from their sale. W / the client drop out rates over 30% you lose a high amount of your commission $. They will start you off on a 9$ draw so you will owe the company for every $ paid to you that you do not earn in commission. The Average employee at Mesa Rock Financial makes $9 an hour as nobody has made a commission check. Big difference from what is promised. Also they may state that no one has worked there long enough to make commission. They have been open since Dec its now Apr. How long does it take? I have talked to Sister co. Topaz and their employees state that only 10% of their employees ever see commission checks.

This place is a revolving door. Ray the lead manager of the department is an uneducated Used car sales manager. He collects name tags of past employees and has a huge stack of them while joking with other managers about the size of the stack. He talks badly about every past employee and about every current employee non discreetly. 75% of the people who get out of the 2 quick training days quit their 1st week because they can tell whats going on and got better things to do. The ones who stayed or are currently employed here do so out of desperation. Some people are Felons and cannot find another job that does not require intense labor, some are just ignorant and really are hoping for a payday one day.

The "Leads" At first you will be given a group of #s to dial that are old and have been called already 100s of times by past employees. You will have to make 2 sales before getting "Warm" leads. This is a list of pissed off people who 1 will not answer. 2 will cuss you out because they have begged to get off the call list 3 have done something else. If you show enthusiasm and make a lot of calls then they may throw you a bone with a warm lead here there. After 3 weeks of calling you may finally get 2 sales. But now you are 3 weeks in the hole and owe the company $1080. Now you graduate to "Warm" leads.

They will give you 5-8 a day thats all. The leads they purchase are very poor quality and are not exclusive so potential clients will receive various calls from numerous other companies. Also they are not direct. Sometimes your lead will have filled out a credit application and got denied, a home loan, a cell phone, or a prize winner application. So these are Cheep leads; yet the company will tell you they pay good $ for them. Miss one week without making a sale off this crap lead system and your back to old data base leads and it will take you another week or 2 to get out and back to "warm" crap leads. They are really bad. Not too much different from picking up the phonebook and cold calling.

They claim that they are a Christian based company. LOL Yet their are felons working there, they lie to employees to get them hired, constantly cuss during the sales meetings, lie to customers who are desperate for help over the phone and here is an email sent from the pres Jordan Lane himself showing what his view is on a "Christian" holiday.

Jordan: What is the Company position on Good Friday?

We were told that because most people are off we should be able to finally reach them and to dial and Sell Sell Sell... Nothing but taking advantage of a Christian holiday and it was viewed as a " Great day to make $"

Potential Clients

1. There are no employees who work at mesa rock financial who really know what is going on with your situation. They are only a very small % of employees who work there who have ever stepped foot into a college. There are Felons who work on the phones making sales. No employee has worked over a year so they do not know how the settlement really even works. They cannot tell you for sure what it will finally say on your credit report. They all give misleading information whether because they are just trying to make a sell or because they really just do not know what they are talking about. No matter what they say they are trying to sell you the program in exchanged for a promised commission.

2. The Fees. Start off w / 15% of your total debt. Add in 79$ per month for "account fee" which the avr terms will be 36 months so almost an added $3000. Your settlement should be between 20-35% so when you add on the two fees you are paying 50-80% of the total. When they tell you how much you will be saving w / Mesa Rock they dont include the extra 79$ per month which adds up real fast. If you are paying 50-80% of your settlement then that means you got a bad deal considering they sell your account for 8-12% to collections. If you account is in collections then you know what they paid. You can do this yourself So So much cheaper and there is information all over the web that will tell you what to do.

3. They will tell you that our company will help you from Litigation. Yet we have no Lawyers to represent you. They will tell you they are a member of TASC / or IAPDA organization but so can anyone who pays the correct fee. They will tell you they know what they are talking about. But every one is full of misinformation and no one is truly educated in the Debt Settlement field. They give employees a Debt Analyst title after 2 half day training periods more focused on handling clients and the phones then actual Debt facts. They give employees a Certified Debt Specialist title to who ever clears $80K in fees in one month; this is just a purchased piece of paper from IAPDA.

4. They are not a "Christian" based company as they may claim. Just using his name in vain to use Christ's credibility and trust to try and give you false comfort. See evidence above.

Point is you can do it yourself or find a better way to settle, Id personally go w / a lawyer who knows the law and the process. The fees may seem more expensive up front but they can wipe out your debt faster and make sure your credit line is in tact.
