I was having trouble doing an online wire transfer between my Citibank accounts in the US and UK.

1) I find it amazing that Citibank charges me for transferring funds between accounts under the SAME corporate identity.

2) When 3 authorization codes failed to work, the customer service rep kept asking me if I was sure I had entered them exactly as they appeared. He said that there was nothing else he could do to help me and never once thought about reporting the problem to the IT department.

Perhaps making customers' mundane transactions impossible is one of the big reasons why Citibank needs a government bailout?

Why would anyone want to remain this institution's customer after being insulted as I have?
