AKA Equicredit Predatory Lender victimized many consumers

Are loan was sold from Equicredit to Fairbanks Capital in April since then it has been a nightmare!!! We first got a letter asking us to show proof of homeowners insurance, I called Fairbanks and faxed everything they needed. Since that first letter from them, I have sent copy after copy of proof of insurance, but know one seems to make any changes with the imformation I send.

Then I get a annual escrow statement in the mail where they have started a escrow account for us in the amount of $5500.00 for homeowners coverage that we have had since 1989 when we first bought are home, they changed the amount of are house payment from 1392.69 to 1595.97, so I called and told them again we do not need them to provide coverage for us, they said they would take care of it.

So every month I send in my payment of 1392.69. Fairbanks then started calling asking when I was going to make my payment for that month, I would tell them I did and it had already cleared my bank, the person on the other end didnt know what to say, they never know what to say.

I'm guessing what they have done is, when I send in my payment of 1392.69, they show me late because I didnt send in the 1595.97, so they take the 203.00 from my payment amount and charge me that 70.00 late fee every month, I have over 1600.00 in just late fee's, back in 10 they show a late fee in the amount of 937.51 and thats just one late charge fee!!!

When they call and ask totalk with my husband Clint, and he is not home, I tell them this is his wife can I help you, (they tell me no your not on the loan) what the hell do you mean I'm not on the loan, when we went to closing with equicredit I signed all the same paper work my husband did, they said to me, (equicredit did'nt send them any information showing me on the loan, so I had to type a letter giving me (permission) to handle this for Clint and have Clint sign it and fax it to them, I have faxed them this letter over 10 time.

I have sent them proof of homeowners coverage from 1989 thru and they still say we dont have coverage. They have us as being late every month, I got copys of my canceled checks for the past 12 months and I am 1 payment ahead, but they still call.

Every few days we get a certified letter from Fairbanks tell us they are going to foreclose if we dont pay them over 6000.00, and we just dont owe them anything.

I got payment historys from them asking them to explain the charges to me, and they cant, they have different payment amounts then what I sent in, I cant understand anything they send me.

Are credit report show us as being late, I just dont understand how they can do this when you have the proof showing them wrong, how do we stop them.

Today is 12/17 and its been afew day since they have call me, I cant want to here from them today. The last time I called trying to get this taken care of I asked to speak to a manager and Robert told me there was no one available right now, I told Robert I would hold I had all day! Please help.
