Business & Finance

I was thought I was just receiving a free trial. (My mistake) Apparently even though I canceled I was charged 29.99 for something that they didn't tell me and I didn't know about. I called and they said they would refund it. Well I write checks, and I use my account and they didn't refund the money in time, so I had checks bounce and $25 per bounced check isn't a little amount when they pile up. I called again and wasn't very nice about my bouncing checks. I asked for a manager and the gentleman (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt) hung up on me. I called back and talked to a woman this time. (this was all on the same day) She told me that it could take up 14-21 days to refund my money and that they couldn't guarantee me that they would refund the bounce check fee's. It's first of all wrong to offer a free trial, then when you cancel it not for EVERYTHING TO BE CANCELED! I signed up for ONE free trial and ten minutes later (maybe sooner) canceled it over their voice automated phone toll free number. I'm am so frustrated over this! If they would have not charged my account no bounce fee's would have happened. But they did and they need to take full responsibility for not canceling an account that should have been canceled. A free trial should be free when you cancel within the given time. What they did is wrong and I would love for something to be done about it.
