Experian
Changing the dates and starting the clock over from Experian

Business & Finance

Recently i have Benn working once again on my credit file with experian. I have to say it is so hard to have anything reported correctly these past years. The rules and their laws within their company are constantly changing credit reporting agencies get away with what ever they want to report on your credit and the amount of years they want to report it.

I have benn disputing a item on my file for 9 years it started in 1999 when i signed for a car for my parents anyway it ended up being a paid charge off that i paid in 05 and instead of them starting from the 1999 they started the clock over from 03 and said that's the date that led up to the charge off. They started the clock over when i made good on the account and on top of that the account was never currant i found out all of this when i went to buy a home. I cant believe that if you make good on a debt they punish you for paying, ware is the incentive to pay if it started the clock over. Dola should be illegal. It goes past statute of limitations in my state
