Filed with the county 1700.00 judgement

I moved out in august. I gave the required 30 day notice and thoroughly cleaned the apartment. I contacted the apartment manager about 60 days later after i moved out and received nearly all my deposit back. I do not remember how much that was. They had a forwarding address because my new apartments faxed them for approval.in december the manager filed with bexar county a 1700.00 JUDGEMENT that shows up on my transunion credit report.

I called today (saturday) and Kim the assist. Mgr said roxanne the manager will be in on monday. I will call monday to find out why this happened.

This came totally out of the blue and if not a complete mistake, its fraud and extortion! How can one mistakenly put a judgement on someone?

What are my rights and what damages is the corporation responsible for for a wrongful filing?

I am trying to buy a home with VA and i need this off my credit report asap!
