Destroyed My Credit on an error on thier behalf

Made over the phone payment to Citimortgage they applied payment to an account not belonging to me. As a result Citimortgage reported me to all three credit agencies and my credit rating dropped over 100 points.

I had a 15 year excellent credit rating until this issue. I have provided evidence to Citimortgage to no avail. Citimortgage responded to me by mail stating that there is nothing they can do and that error must have been on my part and asked me to please re-summit payment or they would be forced to foreclose.

On the letter Citimortgage asked me to pay yet another wrong account. Somebody please give me some direction. One of my credit card companies has dropped my credit limit from $30,000 to $1800 and my score went from a 756 to 650 and dropping!

Somebody please give me some direction I tried calling everyone possible I even walked into a branch office to no avail.
