I would be embarassed if i worked there

First and foremost, I want to say 'SHAME' on Fifth Third Bank! I have been dealing with them for the past 4 months on a car which was financed thru them... BIG, BIG, HUGE MISTAKE!

I too, took the advantage of the "skip a payment plan" fully aware it would go to the end of my loan.

From 9-06 to 11-07 (yes, 14 mos of being unemployed) the "skip a payment plan" was I thought, a blessing for me.

Well, today is 2-08 and I'm getting calls from their collection agency. No "real" correspondance from Fifth Third Bank before that; although I explained my situation long ago as I was in the midst of it and they said no problem.

I just was hired by the State of Texas and only getting paid once a month! Yes, working 7 days a week, trying to catch up, (2 jobs)...

My question is this? When a mortgage company works with you, credit card companies work with you, and everyone wants their monies... Shouldn't Fifth Third Bank take on some other options rather than hounding you for their money?

Their collection agency is terrible!!! I've worked in a call center. Their reps do NOT read anything in your record before they call you. Any updates just go un-noticed until they get their money!

One SENIOR VP, JOHN P. KNIERIEM, should be ashamed of his position. You definitely should know better, being an executive. People are suffering and working hard to keep themselves above water... Watch it Mr. Knieriem, karma really sucks, especially when you are giving out crap to your customers! It will hit you twice as hard!
Mr. KNIERIEM, your motto for your bank is: "We're Working Hard To Be The Only Bank You'll Ever Need."
If I can speak on behalf of your customers... The Only Bank We Will NEVER Need!

I'll keep the car in the garage, pay alittle to carpool and catch up with the bank and that will fix their boat... Money will EVENUALLY come and you have no car in your possesion Fifth Third Bank. A lawyer can take care of the extra fees you tack on.

Or, yes, take the car back... Trashed! And then try to re-sell it (yeah-right?) LOL and who cares about credit because this has been a hard 2 years for alot of people! Banks and Loan companies will make concessions for these years of the wonderful world of Bush!
