Worst Company I Have ever dealt with

I stupidly bought a car for my daughter and had it financed through Fifth Third Bank not knowing what a rip-off organization they are. She paid faithfully for two years when because of the economy her worked slowed and she was late on one payment. Since the car is in my name I found out while getting a home loan that it was on my credit report. I called the company to make the payment and was told it was already at what I found out is their "Collection Agency" What a joke... I paid the late payment and the next months payment all late charges and fees due and was told I needed to authorize the 3rd month's payment ahead of time to clear my account. I gave them my debit information and was told I would not need to make a payment until after that 3rd month was up as it would be automatically debited. Of course it wasn't debit and had I not been keeping up with my bank statement I would never have known. So when I called they said that was between me and the collection agency who told me it was between me and Fifth Third Bank. Hence another late charge to pay and i believe it was done on purpose.

So I think all is well and begin making the payments myself to make sure they were on time. We decide to trade in the car and I call to get the payoff and the recording says I owe for August not my agreed upon payment of $406.00 but $522.00. I call and ask why it is higher and am told that I owe late charges of which I explained I had paid those to the collection ageny... The response was not there problem and then they said a check had to be returned for non-payment which is not true and I owed them $30.00 for a non sufficient funds fee. Who does the company think it is to charge people outrageous fees for things they do not even owe and then are told there is nothing you can do about it. I will trade the car this weekend for anything I can on the lot and get this rip-off company paid off but please DO NOT GET A LOAN AT FIFTH THIRD BANK... I know this probably won't help anything but it feels good to get it off my chest. Please do not use this bank and if you do READ THE FINE PRINT.
