Co Made serious attempts on phone and in letter to collect $1,145.00,16 yr debt that i knew i did not owe

This company contacted me at the addess i lived for over 12 yrs and implied i had a credit card dept that was 16 years old and that if i did not begin paying them, their client was gonna give the order for me to be sued for much more than the original amount. After further review i confirmed that i had not made the debt and whether someone else incurred the debt or not they should have been looking for this money long ago. I have yet to report to the better business berua. If another letter comes than i know i need to sue.
