$500 Early Termination Fee Never Disclosed Before 3-Year Contract

I received the early termination fee as well as everyone else here. I was told by SunTrust that it is not their fault, they cannot do anything about it, and they cannot give me a copy of the program guide. I was told that I should have it, and if I lost it, too bad.

Customer service reps were useless. They direct you to a phone number that no one returns a phone call from. All you can do is leave your information and hope someone calls you back. BUT if you terminate early, no matter what the reason, you get charged $500. I was never told of the early termination fee, nor was I told I was signing a contract for 3 years. Apparently the rep does not need to tell you this information.

For SunTrust to be involved with this company is unbelievable. I think they are just as guilty for being involved with a company that is so shady, does not return phone calls, and does business this way. And they have NO response to it and do not care.

I have been able to get away with just being charged a 12.50 a month fee until I can figure out how to get out of this, but if inactive for 6 months, you get charged the $500 as well. Is there anything in the agreement about inactivity and being charged $500??? Has anyone looked into that? And by the way, I have lost my program guide, which no one is able to provide a copy of to me. I am furious and cannot believe this is legal!!!
