Late charges on purpose

I applied to a Bank Of America credit card offer end of September. I go in and out of the country. Before leaving home on October 21st, I checked my mail. Bank Of America statement still had not come. I just returned home on the 30th and I gave them a phone call to inquire about my first statement. They told me I was past due by 6 days. They notified me my statement was sent to my home. How convenient to say that!!!

I went through every single mail before and after speaking to the agent and have not found one statement from them. I guess nobody wins because BOA is not aware mail gets lost. Yes it is a small percentage but it happens. That is the reason why I inquired to them. Not only I have to pay a $39.00 late fee but my APR could possibly change. I have very good credit and not much to pay off. So bye bye BOA or should I say Bank of Ameri-con for those who will understand!
