Ripoff swindlers illegal fraudulent rude liars

I was in the process of buying a computer for school, which I decided to go back about a week before the semester started. I needed one asasp! However, I just bought a car, and because of this I had alot of inquiries into my credit, and was unable to get financing from Gateway itself. I called Paradigm the next day to order the computer.

At the end of the conversation, I asked the woman when I should be expecting the computer. Thinking that it would be within a week or so, I was shocked when she told me 10 weeks. I said to her that I needed the computer right away. It will do me no good in 10 weeks. BEFORE EVEN GETTING OFF OF THE PHONE I told her repeatedly DO NOT CHARGE ME, I do not want this computer. I am cancelling my order, do not proceed. This was all in one conversation. She said ok.

I notice a charge of $91 out of my checking account a couple of weeks later. I called the 757-825-6703
number and spoke with a woman who of was probably the rudest and most ignorant people that I have ever talked to in my life. She told me that the woman that I spoke with told me the rules and so I fully knew what was happening, and my money is non reundable. I told her that before hanging up the phone I cancelled my order because all of the information was not disclosed to me. She said too bad. I started to get irate, and told her that I want my money back and I was going to call the Better Business Bureau. She laughed in my face and said rudely "lady, I'm not gonna argue with you, you can call customer service and fight with them".

So I called customer service. The woman was nice and said that the charges would be taken off within 5 business days. She also apologized for the witch that I intially spoke to. I was happy.

Guess what. It's been 2 weeks and i still don't have the money!

Do not use this company. I hadn't even completed my order and they processed anyway knowing that I cancelled immediately. They are fraudulent and are participating in illegal activities. Hopefully they will be shut down before this happens to many others.
