Corp Dishonest Deceptive ripoff

My daughter wanted a computer from Gateway. She picked it out and ordered it. Paradigm contacted me and said they could finance the computer for me. As I spoke to the Representative aka Andrea Morris I asked if it was this certain model of computer from Gateway. She said they don't have a model number their computers are special built for them from Gateway. I then asked if they could get online and tell me if this was the computer I would get. They told me that they could get online and I stated the model number of the computer that I wanted and they said thar yes that was it. I wanted a tablet PC and it retails for $1900. Since they told me that was going to be the computer that I would get I didn't think anything about the price 0f nearly $2300.

When I got the computer it turned out to be a model that retails for about $700. If I had known that this was the computer I was going to get I would have never agreed to pay that much. I called them and told them they lied to me aboput the computer I was going to receive and I wanted to cancel. Andrea Morris said asked if I had read the sales agreement and I did but since there was no mention of model number and they had already said I was going to get the computer that I wanted I didn't pay real close attention to it. I then got the name of the sales manager at Gateway. He said he could do something for me. I have every day for the last three weeks and I have never been able to talk to him again and he never calls back. I have learned an expensive lesson here. I'm telling you now NEVER buy anything for Paradigm. They lie amnd deceive you all the way until they get you to sign that paper. I now intend to contact the Attorney General of Virgina and file a formal complaint. For the rest of you STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
