Made 3 credit card mistakes that cost me money

Citibank did not send an account statement to me with my charges. They claimed that they emailed them to me but did not provide my email address when asked.instead they provided one that was incorrect. So, they send a letter saying that I owed them over $111 and that, if I did not pay, they were going to send me to collections. I called them the day that I got the note.

Approximately 2 weeks prior to that, they sent a note saying that my account was "compromised" so, naturally, I thought that the charges were fradulent. So, I asked them to send the statement. A week later, they sent statements and about 1/2 of the charges were late fees. I am not sure whether the charges were legitimate or not (don't remember whether I charged them as they were gas station and grocery store charges), but I paid them.

A week later, the check was not processed and a collcetion agency called me, not identifying who they were and yelled at me. They have my cell phone number and said that they will continue to call me so that my cell phone bill is charged up.

I called Citibank, after putting me on hold for a long time, and they could not resolve it and said that I need to call a different number during the day. Meanwhile, the collection agency continues to call.

In addition, last year, I had sent Citibank a check to cover a monthly bill of $631. They processed it as $6331 (my balance on the account was $631) and, as a result, several checks bounced and I incurred late fees and interest from another credit card. Citibank reimbursed me for all fees after several phone calls.

I am considering legal action for time lost, loss of reputation, harassment and the charges that I will incur for changing my cell phone number as well as emotional stress if possible. Anyone interested in taking this case can reply to this and I will contact them.
