First Premier Bank
Sends out unrequested activated credit cards with a balance! Attorney wanted!

Business & Finance

About 5 years ago now I got a bill for a credit card I did not request or want. I called the company to explain that I did not request this activated card with the $178 start up fee. They said in order to cancel the card I had to pay the balance on the card because it was alredy activated. I had not activated the card. I never charged anything on it and I refused to pay it. They more or less said to pay it or go to collections. I told them I would not pay for something I did not want.

They put it on my credit report and it has been there ever since. It went from 150 to 525 crazy stuff even though I told them to close this account it is still collecting interest as it sits on my credit report.

I have now found 11 people here alone on usacomplaints.com that they have done this too. All have the same story that they get this strange bill in the mail for a supposed credit card (I never seen a card) even though we explain that we did not request this card they don't care. This is a scam that they are probably doing to hundreds of people in the hopes that a few will just pay the bill to keep it off their credit. I really want to be contacted by an attorney, I feel there is a class action suit here big time.
