Non activated credit card rip off, backfires lol

Had put out feelers, to several credit card companys for a credit card consolidation. One night recieved a call from a WaMu representive and wanted to know the balances of my credit cards, so he could do balance transfers and he would get back with me. Sounded like a done deal.

Next week he called and said they could not process my request. Next week I got a letter from WaMu which I put in mail junk bin. The next month I recieved a bill for over $1250 from WaMu, which I promptly called them up and explained that I didn't have an account with them and they ran me around to 6 or 8 department, unbeknownest to me there was a credit card in that envelope in my mail junk bin and also I was not aware that they had approve me for $1500.

Now the way I understand it, for a credit card to work after you recieve it, you have to call a number to activate the card. The WaMu fraud dept. Verified I hadn't activated the card. And he agree with me that I couldn't have an account without the card activation. Now I'm wanting to know how I owe them $1250? Well looks like on June 5th somebody from WaMu did a partial transfer to one of my credit cards. Well right here it gets a little fishy if you know what I mean, the customer service rep tried to explain to me how you didn't need to activate the card, to have an account?

This must be a special credit card? Anyway I think someone at WaMu jump the gun, an assumed I had activated the card and they transfered the money to my other credit card. The long and the short of this, is I don't pay for other peoples mistakes. Thank you WaMu, You got yourself this time and you won't see a penny from me.
