Ripoff

Wells Fargo Auto Finance is a big ripoff. Before my husband totaled our vehicle which was financed though them. We got behind a few times on payment. Then we paid off what we were late it was 1,000 something and that caught us up.

Well then a few days later I get a call saying that we owe like 500 something and I told them we just paid that off and they kept telling me that we did not pay it all off when I know that we did and they were also adding their own insurance to my account even though I had full coverage insurance. Then my husband wrecked in November and the car was totaled. Well they kept calling wanting a payment and I told them that the insurance was working on it.

Well they just kept calling and calling saying that they wanted a payment of 406.31 and I was like well that is not even my payment. My payment was 278.04 a month and they were like yeah but we raised it for insurance purposes. Well finally the insurance paid their part and I was under the impression when I got the vehicle that we had gap insurance though Wells Fargo. Well they kept calling and first they said we owed 500 something then I get a letter saying we owe 1000 something.

I called and they were like we that is what you owe and the payment was still 406.31 a month and I told them about the gap insurance and they said all the needed to process that was the police report from the wreck. Well that was in December and nothing has been done about that yet. I recived a letter yesterday saying that we owe 2,057.32. And they are still adding insurance to a car I no longer have which they have also released the title of the car to me.
