Ripoff rude nothing but harassment asking personal questions with every phone call

My payment is automatically deducted from my checking account, and I called the 1-800 number to let Vanderbilt Mortgage know the funds would not be in there due to the fact that my husband company had total shut down for the month, and that my payment would have to be deferred for the following week. I was told that it was fine. I put a check in the mail the next week. Just two days after I had mailed my payment in, Justin with the Maryville office telephoned me letting me know that my payment was late. I told him that I was fully aware, and I apologize, and that I did put the late payment in the mail. That he should receive it in just a day or so. He was very rude, harassing, and threatening me with forclosure if the payment is not received by 5:00 P.M. The following day. He instructed me that my payment would not be accepted. He threatened that they would come and throw my belongings out into the yard, and remove my house.

We have been late with them in the past, but we have remained current with them until this last time. I even called them to let them know that I would be putting it in the mail a few days late. No matter what you do they still speak to you with disrespect. I work for a fincance company, and I never disrespect my customers.

Me and my husband has been through some financial difficulty in the past, and it isnt right that someone is allowed to call your house, and speak to you the way Vanderbilt does. We have worked out all of our financial problems, and all the other bill collectors was never rude, as long as we paid them.
