Ripoff

When our loan was assumed by them we were not informed by the company who had our loan. I kept paying them. Then ASC sent a forclosure notice. I called them and they said we had not paid them. I called and got the fex ex number of the payments sent by the old company. They then kept telling me that the payments had never been recieved.

The problem was the number was one number off on the check so instead of telling me that the put all the money into a suspense account were it was acummulating. Then charged the late fees and took them out of the account. Without informing us.

When I demanded to speak to a manager she informed me after numerous calls to customer service reps that was the problem I then paid the account up to date. This is after marks on our credit and late charges at 173.00 a month.

We tried to file with the bbb and they denied any wrong doing. They recently put us on a payment plan that charged us an extra 170 a month they did not inform us of this. Then I received a statement showing we owed them 10,000.00 I called and they informed me that they had charged a late fee and taken it out of the amount I had sent. This means my payment had not been recieved in full and my account was deliquent.

The continue to take money out of the suspense account without notifying the cusotmer and then marking there credit and charging more late fees. They make affording the mortgage impossible. They want you to loose you home.
