Sears Citi Card ripoff Nationwide

I too have been ripped off by Sears/Citicard. Paid by check amount of $28 balance owing on card. Stupid me. The balance owing was $28.03. I missed for some reason or other the 3 cents. Costs on the 3 cents owing has escalated to $189 over 1 year and sent to collections. Without further billing or notification of intent.

Sears had my proper address because they forwarded it to the collection agency. I also had at that time a second Sears card and my address was correct on that card. So they cannot use incorrect address as excuse for not billing me for 3 cents. No, they let it slide and then slammed me for late payment and from there on it escalated. Balance on second Sears card was $00.00 after spending nearly $2000 on it.

So I was a good customer. Never again will I shop there.

I've paid the $189 to Sears and not the collection agency just to get Sears to shut up. When I checked my credit rating on Equifax 3 months ago it was perfect. I am scared to check it now.

I will not bore you with the frustration of dealing with this and the terrible customer service
